Insurance

Our insurance is full comprehensive with CIL Insurance, Australia’s major caravan insurer. You are fully covered anywhere in Australia including Tasmania. The camper also has maritime insurance so that you do not contribute to a loss if the ferry sinks.

There is a standard $500 insurance excess for all claims. If anybody charges you $1000  bond, you are being ripped off.

We do not claim insurance for minor damage that can be repaired by us.

We have only had one claim in 15 years. One that was predicted to happen. He was speeding. Luckily nobody was hurt.

Maintenance

We store and maintain our campers in our very own factory unit, which enables us to keep the campers in  tip top condition out of the elements.

We attend to all maintenance personally, and keep a log of all work carried out.

All gas and electrical work is carried out, and checked, by licensed operators.

Please be very wary of backyard operators working from home.
